Fair day. Cold. Skating at Pleasantville at night with Mollie and Mabel. Walked home with Mabel. Listened to radio with Leland until 1:00 a.m.

January 8, 1929

Fine day. Cold. Board Meeting Day. Down to Art Billington’s house and then skating at Pleasantville with Mollie. Good time. Into Reils after. Coffee & cake. Listened to radio. Bed 12:20.
